Our Story
As a retired Air Force veteran, I have had more than my fair share of burnt, bitter coffee. I was tired of settling for coffee that was mediocre and disappointing. I wanted something better—coffee that tasted as good as it smelled.
At an investor conference, I came across a company demonstrating an innovative air-roasting technology. I assumed it would be another empty promise of “great coffee,” but I joined the line and waited for a sample.
When my turn came, I lifted the cup and gave it a careful sniff, like a sommelier evaluating a fine wine.
Wow. That was what coffee was supposed to smell like.
I took a sip and braced for the usual bitterness. Instead, it was smooth, rich, vibrant, and full of flavour.
